PARADE OF HOMES http://www.santafehometour.com
Haciendas - A Parade of Homes is the largest Real Estate event
in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It is a free home tour of builders
and their new custom homes ranging from the affordable to the
luxurious. The annual event was held in August, and we at
Santa Fe One Realty made an effort to check out all the homes.
Builders that caught our eye this year include:
Allied Homes - Best Craftsmanship $194,500-266,900
Rancho Viejo de Santa Fe - Best Kitchen $350,000 - $489,000
Frank Yardman - Best Outdoor Living Space $529,000-695,000
Borrego Construction - Best Master Bedroom $825,000 - $992,000
Bruce Thompson - Best Floor Plan $1,050,000 - $1,300,000
Roger Hunter - Grand Hacienda Winner $2,500,000 - $2,950,000
Santa Fe One Realty's associates noticed some fine Southwest
style amenities that most future home builders need to consider,
including: hard trowel plastering on kiva fireplaces, granite
kitchen counter-tops, flagstone portals, mosaic stone inlays
on floors, kick boards and fireplaces; stained concrete floors,
cherry wood cabinets, black-smith ironwork, water catchment
systems, drip irrigation, three car garages and more.
